Thanks to our friends over at http://speedzilla.zeroforum.com/ the new Suzukis. I liked the 03-04 1000 but this new one is butt ugly.
Yeah but look at the wheels, wonder how much lighter they are than the boat anchors we are using now???? and besides the first thing everyone tosses is the exhaust can.... and it is prolly Ti anyway so it ain't that heavy.
it might not be heavy but it sure is ugly! as for the rest of the bike. nice tail section - gives it a euro look - like an mv. the S on the tank is kinda ugly makes it look like a katana. i think overall it needs the exhaust and "S" gone, and it would look more like a euro/italian bike than a japanese.
The GSXR is sweet looking. I dig that exhaust. The "hidden" turn signals are also pretty alright. Wanna bet me it they have dual injectors as per the 2003 race bike? The DRZ is wild, I'd prefer it in black.
I'd hedge bet that the mirror mounted turn signals meet NTSB reg's but the rears, nah, you'll find those out on stalks for the US version.
Not sure why they would want a 3 spoker Duc tossed these on the race bikes because they bent so easily and the 5 spoke weighed less
Going to be a lot of '02, '03 and '04 GSXRs and R1s hitting the market in the next months if the spec of bike matches the looks of the GSXR.
