New documents found uncover that JoPa was informed about Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse of children as early as 1976. Just goes to show how some people and even large organizations will gladly turn a blind eye in order to protect their own interest even at the expense of small children. Penn State proud. http://www.si.com/college-football/2016/05/05/penn-state-joe-paterno-jerry-sandusky-sex-abuse-1976
From the very 1st paragraph of the article. "Former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno was allegedly told that assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was sexually abusing children as early as 1976, this according to a report from PennLive". I'm all for roasting the MF'r, and I'm not sad that he's dead, but how about we let the courts figure out what's true and what's not before making such definitive statements.
Fine with me. I'm not the one who wrote or published the article. You should e- mail Sports Illustrated and the other sports web sight that reported this. Often terms like allegedly are used in order to avoid any possible legal issues. It really doesn't change the accuracy.
There are no legal issues if you were correct. I am not a fan so it does not matter to me that way and if he is dead there is no punishment that we can levy so..... Basically if the allegations are correct and those who believe in heaven and hell are correct then he is roasting. If those who believe in heaven and hell are incorrect he is dead and rotting regardless of whether he did it.
Oh dear God... This is nothing more than an allegation made by Penn State's insurer that is trying to avoid paying an insurance claim that is in the tens of millions. It is completely uncorroborated and a load of horse shit. Yep, those insurance companies sure are trustworthy. If they said it, it must be true!
Woohooo. Let's dig him up and put the casket on trial. If Paterno knew in the 70s and they remained silent even through the Sandusky trial, then I can't see this as much more than an attention/money grab. Joe is dead. I'm pretty sure there's not much more they can do to him. I know, let's torement his family. They had nothing to do with it, but sins of the father and all that.
It was 1976, back when most didn't bother or tell the police about personal taboo shit. Regardless of sick it might have been
Penn State football culture at it finest. https://www.espn.com/college-footba...eral-lawsuit-james-franklin-penn-state-hazing
Weird that it took him 14 months from the time he announced his intention to transfer to remember the alleged hazing. Could it be that he realized that this football thing wasn't going to work out for him and he wanted a good payday to get a leg up on life? Pure speculation, but I understand the strategy...
Even if it is true, I certainly hope that you are not so naive that you think that hazing does not still happen at most schools. And as auminer said, the timing of this one is quite suspect...
Yes, because the systematic raping of little boys over multiple years didn’t happen, it’s me and my sour grapes. Oh, and please let the rest of the beeb know that you don’t like it when they post and comment on topics and events that occurred outside the state in which they reside. I’ll be watching anxiously.
