Just watched the 1st 2 episodes of Castle Rock and wifey and I are gob-smacked! JJ can really spin a tale. It's a pisser because we were 2/3 through the Expanse season of Enterprise and I don't see us picking that back up until CR is over. Plus we were planning on The Mandalorian next week. Disney+ may have to wait for us.

 

Stumbled onto this guy last night on amazon prime, never heard of him but he was pretty good. Willie Barcena , lots about god, cocks and vaginas, not safe for the little ones.

 

Succession on HBO is very good.

I'm workin' at home and football is on but tonight it's Prime for Jack Ryan season 2 if today's the day.

 

I watched that whole thing last night. Not as good as season 1 but still decent.

Anybody else try out Apple+ yet? My wife and I loved the first episodes of The Morning Show. The reviews have been bad but I can't figure out why.

 

Yes it was. I didn't see that coming, but as soon as that deer appeared I knew something bad was gonna happen. I'm ready for season 2.

 

I have not kept up to date on this stuff, so please forgive me if I'm incorrect, but basically what's happening with this industry is that everyone is going to their own streaming services, which are going to host not just their proprietary content, but also movies and shows from the studios they own, so in the end, if you want "errythang", you're going to be paying $20 to disney, $20 to netflix, $20 to amazon, $20 to apple, and so on?

 

Yes, until they realize there is too much offer and they start consolidating.

They are not going to be $20, though. Some are even single digits.

 

"Atypical" season 3 on Netflix - burned through it with my wife and daughter this weekend.

Great show that does an awesome job showcasing the life of an autistic teen in a cool, funny way. Our daughter has Autism and has watched each episode 4-5 times each now LOL...
