Our WPS rep told us the 7100 has a lower ash (Zinc Dialkyl-Dithio-Phosphate) content compared to 300v. He suggested that the 7100 be used in bikes with a cat and 300v for racebikes or ones without. Apparently the ZDDP can destroy a catalytic converter faster. Though I suppose it shouldn't really be a problem unless the bike burns a lot of oil.
