Well, I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.

 

Great tip re. Arcachon Bay. Made the run from Paudillac to Arcachon yesterday afternoon. Bordeaux traffic sucks, but worth it when we got there. Found a nice bar/tapas place right on the beach as the sun starred to go down.

Next time I go there, I plan to plant my ass on that beach for at least a week w a steady supply of Aperol spritz. Beautiful. Oysters were good too! Thanks for the pro tip!
