If they manage to screw it up enough to lose Fabio I think they will definitely look for new leadership. I personally think that if Fabio can manage to get a few W's and stay in the top 3 for the 'ship Yamaha will have no choice but to throw an ass-ton of money at him especially with nobody else on the bike sniffing the top 10. What other top-tier rider would want to jump on that bike right now who could command a serious salary?
I sort of understand why he's unpopular, but not sure why this lack of engineering progress would be Jarvis' fault....
so a Yamaha bike was second in the championship 2 years ago, won the championship last year, had a rider that needed a mental health professional, and Lin Jarvis is the problem....uh no
Even so, it’s been rumored for a while that he’s on the hot seat. But to your point, I’m not convinced Yamahas major issues are of his doing.
