Those are for directing the rider's exhaust gases into the chin vent of the following rider's helmet...... "Enea! Did you eat the big burrito with extra refried beans last night?"
You can end the fight with Canet by slapping him with a paper towel these days. He does not appear to have recovered during the break.
I knew what you meant but right now, I would take a psycho killer who is not bleeding all over the place to have my back.
I thought there was a rule about aero not being a danger to others? Those fugly things seem like they would hurt just a little if you got tangled up with them in a wreck.
I think at this point, Gigi is just putting stuff on bikes to mess with people's heads because the rules are restricting his ability to innovate.
New aero spotted in Silverstone, but what are the rules? "stegosaurus" https://www.motogp.com/en/videos/20...-in-silverstone-but-what-are-the-rules/430054
It's hardly a penalty at this particular track........more akin to just running wide in a single corner. He'll barely lose a half second. They can take the long lap at any point during the race, right?
Could be wrong but if memory serves, it does have to be within x number of laps from the start. 3 or 5 maybe? Can't remember the exact number. edit: Bird beat me to it and his response sounds more accurate now that I think about it.
Birty & Simon mentioned prior to 3 laps this am. Also said that it was 1.5 secs (but those were FP1 trials - might have improved during FP2)
" A rider receiving a ride through or long lap penalty will have three laps to respect the displayed penalty board and comply with the penalty. The only exception will now be that a rider receiving a penalty of two long laps will have five laps to respect the displayed penalty board and comply with the penalty.
