Bwahahahahaha! The guy who got beat in the championship makes a sour grapes comment that "it's the bike, not the rider" and his acolytes all nod their heads in agreement rather than just appreciate the talent they are seeing? Talk about denial.
And Jorge was only running a second a lap faster than moto 2 race I think lol. Because it’s required by Motogp for a factory team to have two bikes I believe.
Anyone else notice major karma lap one of moto2 race? My wife rewatched the moto2 race from misano with me last night and was screaming at the tv, “he went into the green to get a better drive. He never would have made the block pass had it been for not illegally going wide on the green”. I just smiled. When he went down first lap, she yells “thats karma” lol.
Watching the cool down, it's obvious Blashfield is right -- nobody likes Marquez. They don't. People just love to bag on racers that are struggling. I feel for Mav. He rode his heart out, and you could see the tire just had nothing left exiting 15. Good sportsmanship by Rins and Frankie. Bummer there. Off to Thailand in two weeks time. Will Marc lock? Probably.
That race sucked except for 2 parts..... Vinales getting robbed by Miller on the last lap And Lorenzo dead F@cking last
Dovi from 10th on the grid to 2nd is probably worth mentioning too. Top 3 Yamaha though and only over 23 seconds behind the 93!
So 2 questions.... 1) has Marc clinched yet or what? 2) how much money has been collectively wasted on Jorge (@ Ducati and Honda) between contract dollars paid and man hours/etc spent since leaving Yamaha.
All Dovi has to do is win the next 4 races while the rest of the field holds Marquez to 0 or 1 points.
It’s not like benching your starting QB because he can’t stop throwing the ball to the guys with the other color jersey. I’m sure the riders are contractually obligated to suit up and circulate the track when they’re medically cleared to race. I’d be surprised if there were a performance rider on that requirement.
Talk $hit about Bradl all you want, the man's development with HRC over the past few years has allowed Marquez to not just win a ton of races but rather destroy the grid. He may not be at the pointy end anymore but he's earned his pay twice over. Guintoli could be argued to have done a significant amount for Suzuki also. Ducati has slowly wained further off since Stoner's development contract ended.
