I know you love to argue, but it is not a entry level racing class for all of road racing. That’s club racing, mini racing, and or track days.

It is the slowest or entry level at MA, but it is still a Pro Level class in a Pro Level series and most those kids will have 5-10 years of experience before racing this “entry level” category.

I’m just stating the obvious. I’ve never stated that it isn’t a pro level class. Your interpretation is your interpretation. I’m certainly not stating anything that MotoAmerica, itself hasn’t stated and I certainly didn’t write the dictionary definition. Moto America calls it an entry level class. I’m not making an opinion based on a relationship or a feel good story. Just looking at it objectively. One only has to look at the remainder of riders in the class to gain an understanding of what the intent of the class is in addition to it being named Junior. But I’m only arguing. Um OK. And like I stated, it’s a moot point.

Ok, so using your definition above from the dictionary, how
many junior cup riders are “entry-level”? I.E. beginners that never raced before and showed up at a MA round to “try this racing thing out?”

    Absolutely 0% is the answer.

I bet you would have trouble finding a single one that had less than a couple years of racing under their belt.

Fine with me. Moto America is calling it an entry level class. I’m only going by what they are calling it. You should write Wayne a sternly written letter and point out his fallacy. :D

Did you even read what I said? You know, about the part that he didn't pull off the racing line while fucking around with his petcock? People can get hurt that way...

I'm sure you cheer for the trans in girls college swimming too. Nobody in that class is half his weight , I'm just commenting on the perception that he is a bit too experienced for the class at 28. The rules are the rules if he fits in fine.

    From Merriam-Webster:

Semantics began its life in the late 19th century as a technical word in the field of semiotics, referring to such topics as the relation between signs and the things to which they refer. It was quickly adopted by the field of linguistics, and applied to the study of the meaning of words. When it is encountered in general use today (among non-specialists) the word is often seen in the phrase just arguing semantics, which appears to indicate that the speaker intends for semantics to signify something unimportant and trivial.
