The carb boots on my 1WG fzr400 do not line up. Had some engine work done. Are carb joints to motor flipped?
Looks to me like the manifolds are on back to front. The vacuum ports should be facing to the rear of the bike.
You need a new builder. It's plain as day those manifolds are mounted improperly. What else, that you can't see, is ass-backwards? ‹smh› FFS, even Lever wouldn't make that mistake.
Its discouraging really. I had the experts refresh the motor and paid good money. But you know, in my experience it rarely goes smooth when i use outside service for my bikes. I guess its no big deal to reverse them but I'd rather not, nor kill Sunday morning messing around with it because I assume it's me, not them - it's crazy making. Thanks for the confirmation. i like the Lever reference.
