I'm thinking about selling it and going SuperMotard racing. I have a kid on the way too so I'm testing the waters.

I'm thinking it is highly unlikely I'd sell it. I was just curious to see if there was any interest.

We plan on rolling it out at the WERA Summit opener April 19th and will hit the ground running.

It's going to be a fun season!

Are you showing your bike at the DC show?

 

I haven't heard anything from Loudoun Motorsporst so I'm not sure if I'll be showing it or not. Thanks for reminding me, I better get on it.

How's your bike coming?

 

The bike is running and basically ready to make its debut.
I'm taking it up to Summit for the April 7th track day with NESBA on the full course to do a shake down and check my gearing.

I just have some simple stuff to do to finish it up, install my tach, new brake pads, replace wheel bearings before mid-season.

I have ridden it twice now in empty parking lots just to get a feel for the clutch and the power characteristics (and because it is my new toy and I couldn't resist). I have to say I am happy with it!
Torque, torque, torque.

I'm getting better at starting it now. I can get it to push start in 3 tries.

Speedwerks did a good job of putting all the hardware together.

I need to verify if my bellypan is good enough, as the rear "wall" that holds the fluid does not extand all the way behind the case. I can work up a half pan for the rear of the engine to direct any fluid to the front part of the pan if needed.

 

The window of opportunity has closed. I sobered up and the bike is no longer for sale.
