Anyone around here put 00-03 GSXR INTERNALS into a 99-02 SV fork? GP Suspension did this mod on the newer SV, just wondering if it can be done on the older one.

I suppose I can just call GP myself though...

Another $150.00 for them to install. Check with them again for more current exact pricing but that is what they quoted me.

    What's the point?

Because you can get adjustable rebound and preload

I don't race WERA but if that keeps you in the supersport class(s) that's cool. But if it throws you in the superbike classes why not just use a front end which is going to provide you a more ridge setup? I've ridden 3 endurance races on an SV650 with a GSXR front end (inverted forks from an 05) and its awesome compared to my SS bike.

I think it keeps you SS legal but don't quote me on that. I have a gsxr front end on my SV superbike and it rocks:up:

giving the SV forks rebound adjustmant keeps it legal for SS. the SV doesnt need a more rigid front end. unless you put ak-20's in a gsxr front end conversion, you're better off staying with the stock forks and putting ak-20's in them.

point is who you listen to and why?million opinions,do this or that, dont do this or that.for every yes there is another no.just do what you want to do,whatever makes you feel better.
If I was to listen to everybody my bike would still look like this(march 99).and I am sure there are those that would say I did not need that tail :D
