At the beginning of October my wife saw a facebook post featuring Jaxson. He had been with a foster parent since April and they could not find the right home for him. Today the foster mom dropped him off with us and we begin the trial period to see if we can integrate him into the pack. So far so good. He joins Hayden (the one that looks like a lab but doesn't have an ounce of lab in her according to doggy DNA) and Caprica. We were already a two dog household and really didn't want a third until we saw this fella. Back in 2017 he was a victim of a home invasion where the asshat shot him in the face. After he recovered he stayed with a neighbor who unfortunately had to give him up, which is when he went to the foster parents house.
Good on ya man. It looks like the poor guy could use a break! Hopefully all the pups get along and he has found his new home.

Thank you! First night went well. Caprica was being jealous, little growling but nothing came of it. Everyone acted like a happy family this morning. Jaxson slept with me in the spare bedroom and decided the entire bed was his and left me about 4 square inches to use. I’m a little sleep deprived.
Good on ya'll for giving a break to a dog who deserves it! As mentioned above, no punishment is too extreme to the person who shot him.
