i damaged my fork last track day and instead of rebuilding my set . i found a set of forks and rear shock set up for flat track racing and they are lowered. do you think it would be a good upgrade for supermoto. i use the bike in parking lots and go-cart tracks no major jumps or offroading . the bike is 2005 CRF450.

flat track is typically quite a bit lower than even supermoto. i would discuss with a suspension guy

Will work fine but probably isn't an upgrade. Flat track suspension is slammed compared to sumo (which often isn't lowered at all). That said, it will rail pretty good but you'll be grinding the pegs really early.

Supermoto suspension is lower that stack MX suspension. It always is.

Ended up going back to full length MX specs on my WR to get it to handle right as a sumo...
