license ?

i see it says that the license cost 100 bucks and lasts a full year.. but what is the associate membership all about?

 

The associate member is only to receive the mailings. You CAN NOT race on a associate member liscence.

 

thanks.. i was hoping it was a cheaper fee if you already have a race license the "other" org...
