    When I broke my collarbone in 2013, it cost me personally about $5,000. That would of bought me two suits so when you think about it that way it's not that expensive. I still don't own one because I wouldn't be able to swing $2,000 on a suit and still be able to pay for entry fees that year. The only way I was able to pay for my medical bills previously was due to making payments. Maybe Dainese, Alpinestars, etc. should start doing that...

    these horror stories about the expense of a broken collarbone are making me real thankful about my break in July.

  6. You might be right. However the majority of my injuries happened long before I ever sat on a bike.
