He couldn't do that on the Duc, why would he try to start over with the same thing on the Honda?

For JLo's sake he better hope they can make it smoother. I don't see him throwing caution to the wind like Marc or Cal.

I'm willing to bet Lorenzo is taking a slight pay cut to go Honda vs Ducati. Best available bike and team is hard to argue with as the Yamaha has struggled. The Ducati has been solid though. Not sure I understand Lorenzo's urgency to bail.

It's probably just a couple clickers anyway.

Slight? No way Honda is paying anyone $12M to ride their bike. Ducati wasn't willing to pay him that anymore why would anyone else?

I don't think Ducati will ever pay anybody that again. Fool me once/fool me twice situation. Jorge just screwed anybody else from ever getting major bank from Ducati again.

Ducati paid Rossi what like 15 million. So Lorenzo was cheap in comparison. But yeah they won't pay anyone that much again.

Unless their name is Marc Marquez.
I think you might be mixing dollars and euros.

That it was solely Lorenzo's decision to leave Ducati isn't clear.

Helpful to both parties negotiating new rides/riders to keep things relatively diplomatic in the press before the decision was formally announced.

Rossi was getting 15 million euros a year from Ducati. Lorenzo is getting 15 million dollars a year. Euro is worth more than a dollar...

Not entirely convinced about the €15 million.

Yeah, I think that € 15M was over two but I'm not 100%.

No, I'm pretty sure that the number in the teens was per year. I'm just not convinced it was 15.

Heard somewhere it was 4 million? Maybe i am just making this up in my head.

But someone he costs Ducati 800,00 (either euro or dollars) per race weekend, that is nuts.
