Been listening to a lot of his stuff lately, and coming away with a whole new appreciation for him. Sure, there’s the fun songs like Leroy Brown and You Don’t Mess Around with Jim, but he’s got so many other fantastic songs.
He’s got a way of making you feel exactly what he’s feeling when he’s singing. I’ve always been a big fan of his, but after “rediscovering” him, I’m drawn right back in. So sad that he’s gone; makes me wonder how far he would’ve gone in the music world.
    RIP Jim…:(

I just pulled his stuff back up a couple of months ago. I discovered him as a kid in my dad’s vinyl collection. Croce and Prine have a lot in common, well told stories of the normal man. I know what I’m listening to tonight

Once a Wanker.. Always a Wanker!

Was about to mention A. J. myself. I've enjoyed everything of his that my internet DJ plays of his. Haven't looked him up to listen to his albums yet, though. This is a good reminder to...

Because Vinyl is back in style. I was looking at the Tower site last night, and vinyl albums are going for nearly $50!
