Have Brad at WFO set up your bike to run on Pirelli tires. He worked with GMD and Max at the Cycle Jam and has a good setup. I did some laps on his bike at Road Atlanta and it felt great! The tires had alot of feel and the front gave loads of feedback.

 

Lets also not forget that the Temperature this weekend at Putnam started of in the 30's and warmed in the afternoon to only low 50's. This may have played a part in your confidence with the Pirelli's. Mine have worked great on both the TLR and GSXR. Good Luck!!
