I know. I've had one since the week after they came out. You know before they caught out. Before there was a SDK. Before there was an app store. I bought it because it told me how to unlock it.
Turns out...it actually is doing very well in certain markets. God I wish I recalled the details but the Nokia 520 is kicking butt in some specific market. Have you heard of the Nokia 520? Yeah right I know...why is it they only advertise the top end models?
There's still a couple of JB apps that I'm not willing to give up on my phone to upgrade it and lose. My iPad I don't JB so I'll test it out on there first.
Cool, thanks. I have a couple friends who had the beta version for a while now, but i saw you guys all commenting here and assumed the public version was out already too.
My god. Are you still in here peddling your windows OS. And why are you trying to compare a desktop OS to mobile. You talk customization, but you never mentioned that horrible POS WP8. You guys in Redmond need to get a whole new design team and your head out of your ass. Getting rid of just that sweat monkey Balmer isn't going to get it. The only reason Redmond is even still in the phone business is Nokia. And they have sold so poorly that MS had to buy their mobile business.
Yea, thought I'd give him something to write another 10 posts that no one really gives a shit about. You know, like Windows Phone8
It's actually the other way around with Windows. Half the software we have at work doesn't work with newer versions of Windows. We are stuck with XP on some of our machines for that reason. I have never had a problem with MAC software when I went from Leopard to Snow Leopard to Lion to Mountain Lion
I've exhausted 10+ hrs on the phone with my company's help desk specialist because Windows dumped my profile and lost all my desktop files, outlook connection bookmarked favorites and God knows what else. All on a 3 month old laptop. Sure, the techs Ravi, Suri, Rahmdi, Sai were all very helpful when I could understand them. But my profile and files still haven't been restored, and the issue has supposedly been escalated to the next level at least 5 times. Can't say I've ever had this issue with any of my 4 Macs, or any other major issue I can recall.
You guys let me know if they put in text wrap when I resize the screen for my old eyes. Not having that is a real PITA!
