I have started looking at replacing my Hit-Air RS1. It did its job during my high side at CMP but it appears to be a one time use system. The air bag was ripped during the slide after being slammed on the ground. I need new leathers and plan to go with an internal air bag. I keep hearing a ton of issues with the A-stars system and would like to know who all has used the Ixon or any of the other brands that utilize the In&Motions system. I have been read (on Bison's air vest article) that the race system will work if you register the product in Canada. I was just curious who all has used it and what issues have you had? https://www.fc-moto.de/epages/fcm.s...ucts/Ixon-IX-Airbag-U03-Airbag-Vest-2019-0002 https://www.fc-moto.de/epages/fcm.s...ubProducts/Furygan-In-Motion-Airbag-Vest-0003 https://us.inemotion.com/en/moto/?_...35034.4841237.1686676071-383838123.1686676071
STG is now selling an RST suit that utilizes the In&Motion vest. I would assume that means it can now be registered in the US?
The A* Tech-Air 10 has had, and still seems to be having, a lot of issues. I have the Tech-Air Race, and it has worked well for me. I've crashed 4 times in it, and have had no injuries to the areas it covers. Having said that, I was very impressed by STG's video about the In&Motion suits and airbag system they posted to Youtube about 2 months ago. Definitely plan to consider it when I need a new suit.
I just saw that. It looks like it is hear in the US but you have to have the serial number from an RST suit. I know Bison has been putting some in their suits. So I wonder if you still have to do the Canada thing to use it with custom leathers.
I thought the s/n was for the vest not the suit? Maybe ask them in their page on this forum. Edit: Looking at the STG site it does look like it is the suit s/n.
