IF traffic could not be bad enought in Atlanta.... it just got worse

85 to north half of 285 to 20?

 

That's usually the way I go. I imagine 285 is much worse now with everything going on with 85 and now west 20. Don't now where the 20 incident is exactly on that road.

 

Y'all need to start shipping people to Florida. Lol.

Perimeter = 285

 

285 = The road that goes around Atlanta traffic but is just as bad as downtown Atlanta traffic.

 

I'm leaving Greenville 4am Thursday. So it's 85-285-20?

 

just make sure you are on the road by 4am depending upon where in Greenville. Now rush hour coming south on I-85 towards the city starts earlier (6am) and the exit from 85 to 285 is packed because all the people that would take 85 into downtown are having to take 285 west to 75 or east/south to I-20. This latest screw up will make the 85 folks suffer even more. I would just look at Waze and see what it says.

if you insist on it - and i bet the local news tell everyone not to do it, you can even drive "through" with a local detour.

i'd leave at 9 am, if i was you. then rush hour in ATL is "over". for realz

 

That sucks. Really want to be there early. Gotta lot of stuff to do at the track. He'll I may leave at 3.
