Everything I can think to say has already been mentioned so I'll just add this.
The lead singer has the same last name as a grocery store.
Hey now..."K"roger is awesome!
Never understood the hate as well, and don't care too. They have some great songs, Animals being the best IMO.
How could anyone not like that song? Does that not amp you up? : ). If not...WTF is wrong with you!!
I'm gonna listen to it right now, then go out and mow the yard like a mad man!! ; )
Same thing with Coldplay. Herd mentality I guess.
The proper title for this thread should be ...
I’d rather listen to Eminem and MGK diss tracks than the American citizen filled band named Nickleback
Ive heard all their songs... but never got any money back from them.
A penny for their thoughts... so wheres my nickel back?
I don’t get the hate either. I liked a few of their songs. Then again I don’t understand any of the hate going on in the world these days
i mean... they're no worse than Metallica, soooo...
You're on my list.
Better to be hated than unknown.
I don’t buy their records, but i’d pay to see them live. They put on a great show.
Dunno dude, I actually like some of Nicklebacks stuff.... Some of it even has a decent chord progression and melody to it.
Metalica’s stuff is all over amped, under played crap that isnt anything but noise!
Metallica hasn't been good since And Justice for All... i just do this to make Richie sad. also they actually do suck. Nickelback... i couldn't even tell you a single song. no opinion.
They got played so much people got sick of them. Nickelback back is fine with me, but when the radio plays (insert song) all the time...it gets old and then hated.
It's probably not so much Nickelback alone, but(t) the entire "Butt Rock" genre (Shinedown, Seether, Puddle of Mudd, etc...). For Nickelback specifically, if you do a search for Nickelback song overlay, there are a few videos of all the songs mixed together. Basically the same song over and over and over.
