Hootie & The Blowfish

I was the doorman there in 89 actually. Did that when I wasn't out to sea on the submarine. That was some easy money. :up:

As far as this thread goes, I'm a Hootie fan. Always liked their music.

 

Very cool. I miss the subs being at Charleston. Used to be awesome seeing them going in and out of the harbor. Used to freak me out being at Fort Moultrie in the evening and suddenly seeing a sub or other naval ship suddenly right next to you going into or out of port.

 

Nothing like the feeling of standing topside on the submarine coming in at night. A really weird peachfulness. Guess because we were coming in. :up:

Maybe it was the Hootie & the Blowfish music coming from the islands.

 

Bingo! Folks will be surprised when they hear these guys doing rock/country/bluegrass/rap in the same show. They would make a damn fine country band. Yep, they will be touring this year. :up:
