For sale: 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Clear Nevada Title, bike is located in Reno Nevada 3500 original miles, I am the 2nd owner, Original owner was a 55 yr old man interested in track days, he proclaimed he has knee problems that kept him from riding and sold the bike to me. This bike is a cream puff and has spent its entire life indoors, I have kept it stored inside of my house and have only put approximately 2000 miles on it since taking ownership in 2015. It’s only been gently ridden at the track twice by myself, I had bigger plans for this and just never got around to finishing. This bike has full Ohlins suspension front and rear. Fork cartridges were purchased from IDM German superbike rider and imported to the U.S. Rear shock was purchased from private party on the East Coast Both forks and shock were sent out to a former factory Honda Superbike mechanic , revalved and resprung (195LBS) with proprietary valving from the former factory Honda Superbike team data. This is the center point on this bike, and I will share all graphical data on whats in the bike with the new owner. Due to the sensitive nature of this data and the fact the mechanic whom performed this work still makes a living as a factory mechanic , for a factory Moto America team the information is not open for discussion to anyone other than the new owner. What I can say is that this is the best handling 2008 CBR1000RR you will ever ride. I do also have a “Jeremy Toye” dog bone for the linkage and I’d be happy to explain setup and how to use this component with the current suspension settings. I have spent close to $3500 just on suspension alone.
