Isn't "meh" included in "not funny?" Not finding something funny doesn't mean I'm offended or angered by it. It can just mean it's not particularly clever.
A friend of mine got a personal plate for an H1 that read: XLPNIS DMV clerk asked "What does that mean?" He told her that was the name of his fountain pen company It looked hilarious on a muddy H1.
That's in the hood, where cops don't wait for speeders so this is a mute point. Them stopping people on main roads and freeways doesn't do anything to the kids in the neighborhood.
I wanted 68OU1 for my street bike But they wouldn’t let me have it. I called and the lady couldn’t understand why they didn’t let me get it. Then she asked what it meant. She had a good laugh.
I like it because I was able to figure it out immediately...which is imperative with a personalized plate. If other cars can’t recognize it while driving what is the point right?! Other than that fact I don’t care too much for it. Just my opinion tho, you do you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
these ny plates are so much better than the atrocity blue/orange ones. Liberty plates were the best, then the blue/white, then these.

A late former co-worker and friend worked at WRAL in Raleigh when Jesse Helms ran the station (before he became a US Senator). He went to the DMV in ~1971 and got the plate "GAY LIB". The lady at the DMV approved the tag, smiled and wished him luck. He mounted the tag, drove to work & parked at the back of the lot. He was called into Jesse's office and asked if the car was his. He was fired the same day because of the plate. Be cute, but be ready to accept the consequences of your actions.
