has anyone experimented with changing the oil weight in a stock 2000 GSXR750 steering damper (or similar)? Or at least have an idea what the stock oil weight is?

I really am trying to avoid shelling out for an aftermarket if possible. I know, I am cheap cheap cheap...

    Get a damper, goofball!!!:)

Usually when people try and "fix" their stockers, they blow apart and puke oil on their bike and the track while they are trying to ride. Saving $250 costs you $2500 and bodily harm!

Some things are worth cheaping out on, and a steering damper isn't one of them!!!

    Hmmm,

I didnt realize that the stockers dont hold up if you try to "fix" them. Looks like that kills that option...

Looks like I will have to buy the damper and race on used tires, hehe :p

simmer down Max & find me a reliable endurance rider for the VA race. Geoff's racing f-usa & Kyle's going to be operating an extinguisher only. if you want Axxionarm.com on the podium again gimmie a lead.

  5. I will get Slizz-nOpey Dizzogg to ride that mamma jamma.

He will ride anything! Besides, I can make him work off his bill!!!

Call 770 425-5252, and ask Sheriff Talyor if Opie can ride your bike!!!
