I have a hero 7 black. I only pay about $100 for them though . It’s absolutely amazing. Especially when snowboarding. It’s like a drone with a gimbal is floating down the mountain even when I eat shit lol.

 

Of course the AMEX offer is for 300 or more and the GoPro is 299.99 so you have to buy at least a $20 accessory. Still gives me a good way to get rid of my old Hero2.

Edit: NM. They charge sales tax so that brings it over 300.

 

And just remember it's any camera. Doesn't have to be a GoPro. Like my Sony Digital Camera is from 2005 that I'm trading in, once it's retail price was $99+

I traded in a busted up Contour camera for $100 off a Hero 7 Black when they first came out. I have been really impressed with the 7. The stabilization is amazing and it takes good wide angle stills. The new 8 looks even better. Great deal with the Amex offer.

 

I like my 7, set it to click shutter to record and same for off, no more looking at the camera to see if its on.

I don't know how long the trade-in offer will be, but one can potentially buy a busted camera off ebay for a few bucks, and potentially use that for the trade in.

I’ll see the hero8s in about a month. Can’t wait to pick one up for about $150

Thinking about it, I bought a couple of those GoPro Sessions when walmart was clearing them out last year for $35/each. I could trade one in for a $100 discount.

Not that I think so. I just googled my model # and MSRP and it came up with $350 so I guess they'll do something similar.

Problem is I never know when one will walk in then I gotta sit on it for 30 days lol. It’s usually about a month after something comes out.
