A shout-out to the medical staff at your local Children's Hospital. The people who deal with pediatric cancer every day are some of the finest in the world in my book.
When I lived in TN I had St Jude Children's Research Hospital as a customer. It didn't take long before I couldn't bring myself to sell them anything - I wanted to give it all away for free. Whenever some Senior VP in my firm objected to my (lack of) sales strategy, I would invite them to visit the Hospital with me. Invariably they would go back to Corporate and write checks instead of invoices.
Charitable donations to your local Children's Hospital are the best thing anyone can do. The money you send helps support outcomes like the one Tristan's daughter has.
