Y'all knock this crap off or I'm gonna hafta come over there, come out of retirement and kick all yer asses! Since my R1200ST is 20 lbs.lighter than my old R1100RS, I'm gonna run it in lightweight twins! Hah!
The members of team Peace Beast just got through with a double-aught secret conclave meeting last night and we're prepared to bitch-slap all those other pretender endurance teams out there. During the meeting someone brought up an issue that's sure to make a huge difference. In all the previous races we've only been twisting the throttle part way. This time we're going to try twisting it all the way and see what happens. I can't wait to see the look on all those other teams faces when we unleash all 68 horsepower of my SV650 on that back straight. This is gonna be gooooood.....
He was drunk when he post3ed that, but I'll take it. George, that's what I'm talking about. Going all the way. Woooooooooo.
Now wait just one dam minute, nobody told me I had to use full throttle. Did you take that vote when you guys put me on hold?
Derek Bennett 1:44.887 Best time Craig "Huey" Stewart 1:44.649 Best time Thems don't look like sundial times! Course his is from 2004 and I crashed the next lap on mine... So
That was the fastest I could find on mylaps under your name. I have none faster. Not on mylaps or in me. I ain't calling no one out! I was standing up for us ya maroon!
What do tracktimes spanning multiple years at Road Atlanta even mean, anyway? The track keeps changing, so you have to say: "I did a 1:47, that was with old turn 12, new bus stop (but not using the AMA second bus stop), etc. etc.." How do you reply? "Oh yeah? Well, I did a 1:52 with new turn 12, old bus stop and with a fresh repave (no slippy patch in 7). So you suck!".
Anything under sundial no matter the configuration is a win for me anyday!! Along with a more vertical finish.
