I've recently noticed that my bike is getting much worse gas mileage then before. It's a 2006 gsxr 750 track only bike. At the past couple of trackdays i've really noticed the mpg and I have to fill it up two or three times a day. The only mods are a yosh slip on and +2-1 sprockets and penske suspension. It did seem to coincide with the FI light coming on. I didn't notice any drop in power though just much worse gas mpg then before where i would only have to fill up once a day. Any idea what this might be?

Have you gotten faster? The faster you go the more gas you use...

I'm filling up every 3 20 minute sessions at thunderbolt. That seems to be a lot. My friend has the same bike and he fills up once a day.

First thing you should do is find out why your FI light is on. Check what code it's throwing and go from there.
