Is stock gearing too much for VIR?What gearing have anyone tried there?

    Shoot for a 3.0 ratio. 15:45, etc

Although I've never been, I would think Talledega gearing would need to be shorter than CMP.(I use a 14:46 there.)

So, I don't think your assumption is correct that it is like Tal gearing.

VIR uses tall gearing on fast bikes.

15:45 is way, way too short for anything with over 85 bhp.

Last year on the 600 we ended up with Road Atlanta gearing. Which, on the 600 was something like 16:46 or 45. The 750 is probably a tooth taller or 17:46 (16:43) or there abouts.

Actually, stock gearing should be pretty close.

And, for the record, most people run tall gearing at Talladega and use 4th (or 5th) as the top gear.

It's pretty close. I ended up going with 17-43, but you certainly could run stock if you had to.

I don't know what SV gearing has to do with a 750...
