It's always cool when a young kid that nobody as ever heard of starts winning. There's a local outdoor kart track I go to. A few years ago at one of their 2 hour endurance races, a 16 year old kid won the Robo-Pong race. He beat some huge names that day....Weldon, Dixon, John Andretti, Sarah Fisher. His name is Josef Newgarden.
Nobody was beaten Mark Dismore's 10 year old track record, but he owns the track. Of course, Josh Owens hasn't been there yet!

Rumor has it that Josh Owens may have retired to pursue other opportunities.

Thank you for sharing that info. I was wondering how the town got that name.

Growing up, I went to school with a kid named Brian. We were in the same classes from grade 1 through 12, played the same sports. He came on my family vacations, and I went places with him and his family.

He raced gokarts, along with his older brother and younger brother. They even let me take a lap or two, but I was nowhere near their lap times.

That was Brian Burton, along with his brothers, Jeff and Ward.

Awesome. Ward's son Jeb currently races in Nascar. I'd say the Burton's did well in racing. Jeff is doing commentary.

In my opinion, the best one never raced NASCAR.

It's funny how that works sometimes. Payton Manning said his brother Cooper was a much better athlete than him or Eli.

We had a Salem trailer just like that the other day, it was full of fire walls, we backed the spare switcher under it and kept unloading it.

    Heads up, fellow drivers.

Pilot has a new Philburr cup. It's a yeti copy with a screw-on lid.

$11.95, with a free drink, discounted refills.

Problem is, each Pilot only got 12 and can't reorder, so if you want one, better grab it if you see it.

I'm guessing they will be able to order more in the future, but not now.

Learned another lesson today. Had to get my physical renewed.

Doctor was examining me and asked how and when I broke my collarbone.

    Motorcycle accident, 1984.

Head injury? How long were you knocked out?

Told him I didn't remember the details, since it was 33 years ago.

He said if I had been knocked out for me than 24 hours, I could lose my CDL.

    From 33 years ago?

    He said, yes.

Lesson learned - do not admit anything to a doctor.

These days, don't talk to anybody you don't have to.
Have you had your doctor ask you yet if you have guns at home?

Do you mean knocked out for more than 24 hours? That's more or less a coma, right?
