Anyone gonna have some (roughly) 1.5 inch exhaust springs at Mid-O? I need about 5 or 6 of 'em. Just spent the last two hours cruising around Indy. Don't ya hate it when you call a shop and the parts guy says he has plenty of 'em and when you show up, they're all gone!!! Oh well. Its not gonna stop me from racin'!! But they'd be nice to have if anyone has any to sell me --Eck
I got springs that I needed at a hardware store. Just measure the distance it needs to span and get a spring about a half an inch shorter.
In a pinch, safety wire will work. Don't ask me how I know... Just make sure you wrap it numerous times...
