If you think Chaz was going to top the lap times on an all new bike, you ........ Go listen to his interview, he wasn't pushing to his limits at all. He should be fine...

    ryoung57 Off his meds

But I bet they throw a soft tire on there and let him throw in a few hot laps tomorrow afternoon after they get all the data they need from the test.

  7. Only 1.5sec off Rea’s time, in the very first time on the V4, with no data whatsoever and without sorting the electronics. That is very damn promising.

I am not saying its not promising.
But Pirro has been testing this bike right? Im sure they have a decent baseline already, its not the bikes first run out.

*EDIT, i am actually pretty excited to see it this season.

Pirro has been on the bike for almost a year and he's a motogp rider. Chaz, his very fist time on the bike..... Lets give the man a few practice session so we can really see the potential..

  11. I was referring to Davies.

Setup/electronics/etc are very much individual based.

I am sure Chaz likes different engine characteristics, engine braking management, suspension settings, geometry, etc.

For Chaz to immediately be 1.5sec off Rea (and the 3rd fastest rider overall, says a ton about the potential of the bike.

I'm not sure how the team will afford Bautista's bodywork repair costs.....

Most clubs allow the standard V4 and V4s in the unlimited classes.
