Ducati 748 with 848 track plastic?

I got a 2000 Ducati 748 to make into a trackday bike. How hard would it be to install new style track plastics. The frame looks pretty much the same. I'm curious if anyone has done this. Please don't ask me why I want to do this.....obviously it's for pure style!.....lol.

 

It might be a little tricky with the intakes but might work... the tail would be the most difficult.

 

I'm sure I could do it. I own a body shop and can fab up most anything. I'm really just curious if others have already done it or maybe someone here knows why this would be dificult.
