    If you're just considering a trip for a trips sake, those 2 cities pretty much define the boundaries of the least interesting part of the state.

    That is true. Minnesota river from cities to Mankato to. But, Wilmar is farm country. MSP... well, just another big city.

    North shore to Ely on 1 is awesome. I'd find a way to hug the east border up to the iron range if you want a good ride.

    My Brother is up by Lake Itasca. Says it’s pretty up that way.
