I'm not as good as I once was, but when it comes to "stacking wood", I'm as good once as I ever was.

 

I have to be honest, most of the time these days I let her stack the wood.
It's easier on me and the wood gets stacked the way she wants it.

 

The missus and I just went with an electric heater.

Instant on, no worries about firestarters or stoking the flames. (or stacking the wood)
