Yeah, second that one. Whoever was complaining about Speed showing too much Nascar, might want to take it back - Speed is Man, just thinking about all those pissed Nascar fans all day Sunday, almost moves me to tears
Re: Re: Daytona TV Coverage: NEW Times For Programs On Sunday Mark, don't cry, be happy. Fox is covering the Atlanta NASCAR race ... 03/09/03 Bass Pro Shops MBNA 500 Atlanta Motor Speedway FOX/12:30 p.m.
Good thing I bought 8 hr. video tapes. Maybe I'll rewind and start over again on today's tape. So Joe, is Sunday's now a breakfast function? Are we gonna swap out the grill for a griddle? Maybe we can make it a sleep over so I won't have to get up so early on Sunday. -Wish
I just sent Speed an email thanking them for changing their schedule around to show all the races. Y'all please follow my sterling example.
Executive Producer Rick Miner (a rider) is on site at Daytona. In concert with the AMA the decision was made to run the rained out Friday program combined with the Sunday program of races. The committment to air them all live never wavered. It will be a long day on Sunday, but has there ever been a better one? Dreb
Yeah Dreb that is a lot of work for you but it will be a grat day of racing. I think I looking forward to the 750 race the most.
I'll be watching starting at 9:00 AM! We will now have 2 TV's going. Lot's more food is showing up and I'll have the grill fired up as well.
The coverage has been great and you guys have done a great job improvising due to the weather. Thanks for all your hard work, dedication and letting motorcycles live on Speed!
Thanks Rick, I knew I could come here to get the schedule for Speed. And a big thanks to Speed for the coverage.
check this out... ...AMA has near-real time race updates on their website, via a little Flash applet. http://www.ussuperbike.com/article.php?UID=wsbEMIuOk0RDT3f7liU2uKp2w2zATW&sc=1122&aid=1170 Look for the link on the top left, that says "@the wire LIVE". Pretty cool. The 250 cc race is on right now (I don't have ESPN).
Speed Channel, Tom. I am a happy camper - my cable system FINALLY is carrying Speed Channel. I know, welcome to the 1990s.....
