I'm handling sheet metal at a factory gig right now. The gloves they supply get torn to pieces in less than half a shift. Any recommendations for cut resistant gloves that are grippy enough for oily metal and good durability? Amazon search mainly shows me gloves meant for kitchen work, and I'm not very confident that those will be up to the job.
We use these. Very comfortable and effective. Our company is really anal when it comes to safety. I'm not sure where to buy a few pair though. I could send you a pair to try. https://www.banom.com/
I was a Sheet Metal worker for 25 + years . My companies supplied all sorts of “ cut resistance “ gloves over the years , every one of them Crap . Get yourself a good pair of leather gloves made of Deer skin . Soft and supple and more cut resistant than any Kevlar or other scam material gloves
I use these and they hold up really good. I work with glass and have never been cut wearing these. glass is sharper than any metal including medical grade cutting instruments. https://www.atg-glovesolutions.com/en/maxiflex/maxiflex-cut/34-8743
