Some may not agree with the AMA, on principle everyone must agree they do a great job within the government in representing us.

While you have nothing to do, take the time and go to www.amadirectlink.com then find "Protecting Your Right to Ride". Once your on that page find "AMA Rapid Response."

There you will find all the crap the AMA is up against. I started reading the poop they are up against. Holy Crap.

Take a moment out of your damn busy little lives and fill the petitions out. This is how groups of minorities get something done. Did you know that Minnesota is trying to ban the sale of ALL 2-strokes this summer? In other words Jackass, no 50cc, 60/65cc, or 80/85cc class.

Please take the two minutes it takes to fill out each complaint put forth by the AMA. I filled out ten current petitions.

    Thanks,
    Tom Shields

Here is a sample of the crap going on.

New Mexico state Sen. Allen V. Hurt (R-Waterflow) has informed the AMA that he will kill the bill he introduced that would have made organ donation mandatory for certain motorcyclists.

The AMA was outraged about the proposal and immediately let AMA members know about the proposal, and how to contact the senator to express their views. Thanks to more than 1,100 e-mails sent New Mexico officials from outraged motorcyclists through the AMA Rapid Response Center, Hurt said he would pull back the bill.

The proposal, Senate Bill 239, would have made organ donation mandatory for any unhelmeted motorcyclist or passenger declared legally brain dead as the result of a traffic crash. The bill stated that as a condition of being issued a license to operate motor vehicles in New Mexico "a person operating a motorcycle without a helmet and who, as the result of an accident, is pronounced brain dead pursuant to Section 12-2-4 NMSA 1978 by a licensed physician shall become an organ donor regardless of whether the person made an anatomical gift by completing the organ donor statement provided on this application or pursuant to Section 24-6A-2 NMSA 1978 of the Uniformed Anatomical Gift Act."
