Give it your all, just do the best you can!
Aww....she's such a good mom.
It is no wonder they couldn't get into college without bribes. If you don't have standards, that 10 year old will run right over your ass.
My point (other than the derivative point of him missing the point) is clearly stated at the end of my first post. I guess you missed it too. Imagine that.
Sum' bitch. I missed that. Good on him. Was he contrite or his usual friendly self?
(I didn't say you weren't standing by your comments; my suggestion was to hold your ground, because backing off now would be poor form, no?)
Right on que. you never disappoint, even though you missed mine.
But come on, USC?
Unless you're talking meat cooked low and slow it is spelled cue....
True. Stanford would have made sense.
Hell if I know, I think USC is a big deal out in Commiefornia.
Garth and I agree on meat, apparently.
USC as an undergraduate program isn't very well-regarded. Med school and some of their graduate programs are top flight.
Possibly just getting into any college for her, considering.
If I were one of these kids, I’d rather just have the bribe money. LOL.
Well, that certainly does not help the school distance itself from the situation. However, I can think of a few potential explanations for something like that.
Every time you write this, I read it in Spanish in my mind. Not even doing it on purpose. And I don't even speak Spanish.
They've already got the money. They want the party lifestyle and the connections that come with the school.
The memes are flowin'
OK, the Forrest Gump one had me
FWIW, I was accepted to USC in 1978, and y'all know how dumb I am My parents said, right, we're paying for a 4 year vacation...don't think so!
“My Name … Jose Jimenez"
That's what I was thinking. It's like Ohio State and some others, not hard to get in undergrad especially in state. Once you get to specialties then yeah it's competitive and a different deal.
Colloquially, it's known as University of Spoiled Children, as it has a reputation (anyway) of being easy to get in to, provided you have the cash. I guess that was more true than anyone imagined.
Separate names with a comma.
