Is there anybody that can convert a music cassette to an MP3 for me? I have an old tape that my sister made of her and some friends singing that I would like to have preserved and able to be shared with the grandkids.
If you have a tape deck, it's pretty easy to do. just hook it up to the audio in of your computer and get a free .mp3 encoder like Audacity.
I am not sure I have a tape player. Also what kind of cord would go from audio out to usb for audio in to my computer?
RCA to 1/4 inch headphone jack, probably. No cable would do that, you would need a DAC. Why not use your computer's audio port ?
My computer is a Chromebook and doesn't have an audio port. Maybe I can look through my pile of old laptops and see if I have one with audio in.
A friend of mine just posted how he is using this to save some old college radio shows he had on cassette. Said it work great. https://www.amazon.com/Cassette-Con...ocphy=9028057&hvtargid=pla-623307185496&psc=1
