the camping is "rustic" to say the least. the people that do camp are very friendly and we all have a pretty big party at night. if you're bringing a girl that is not a big fan of the outdoors, go for the motel. if not, stay at the track, it's not that awful. bring bug spray. look for the bikes on the paved section of the pits. #122, 69 and 18 experts. see you there, rob. p.s. they lock the gate at midnight or so sometimes.
Which does not stop most people from hopping the fence and not paying the gate fee. Where else can 400 people show up with gate receipts for 150?
I've camped there often... lot's of mosquitos, and nice cold showers INSIDE the outhouses (how long can you hold your breath?)
