If you wish folks would indiscriminately leave the state then where is your bus ticket? That might not be what you meant though. So please explain whom should leave and why.

 

It certainly looks like some folks in California might be able to leave the state by driving south. Is this the start of something big? If it catches on other states might start getting the same idea with some leaving the US.

I heard about this on the radio Friday night.
I am so on board with this! Excellent idea!

 

Depending on who's counting, there have been around 26 previous attempts to separate the state of California. This idea comes up every 10 years or so, even voted on a few times. I doubt a proposal from Riverside County Board of supervisors, Jeff Stone will do anything more than get his name written in a few papers and conservative blogs.

Looks like a politician from California actually said and did something intelligent. In vetoing a bill he stated: "Not every human problem deserves a law." Hopefully more politicians follow this line of thought.
