Video of said snatch... showng Hickman clearly past and Jason turning into the rear part of the 60 bike. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1578425382571680 And not like it was one of the famous BSB "lunges" either. Peter had position and O'Hal made the mistake. "Magically" it seems BSB can't retrieve the footage from the 22 bike....hmmmm. And Pete's reply that's on several media sites... https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=642412407244104&set=a.208793637272652
How in any way on God's green Earth was that a bitch move by Hicky? O'Halloran didn't just open the door for that pass, he cleaned the house, opened a bottle of wine and put on lingerie for it.
If the roles were reversed, some of you guys would be flying over the pond to beat O'Halloran's ass because your blind fanboyism for Hicky.
I saw a video of two guys I don’t know. Only one of them crashed into the back of the other after he was very cleanly passed.
I think you're the fanboi here. This wasn't any different than the situation at MA NJMP in SSTK couple weeks ago between Alexander and Gillim. The rider that went down fell after being passed. BSB race direction decision was totally ridiculous and the pass was as clean as they come on a circuit designed for go karts. BSB wants their cake and eat it too.
Nope there skidippy. Like Papa, Chris and some others here, I'm privileged to be able to call both Jason and Peter ( and others in the BSB world ) friends as we speak and text often. So your fanboy comment does not apply. Jason messed up and turned into Pete, after PH clearly had position and was well past Jason, then JO fell down and proceeded to pitch a 3rd grader fit in the sandtrap. Afterwards, the powers at BSB makes a bassakwards ruling against Peter. To me, wouldn't matter if was Jason, Taz, Rory, Brad Ray, ( insert any names here ).
I think they made the right decision. The pass was not clean. As he came up the inside Jason had already committed to his line leaving him no where to go at that lean angle but into Peter. Very fortunate both didn't go down but unfortunate that Jason's bike was headed to the scrap bin
So this just got awkward. O'Halloran got cleaned out in the same corner by Bridewell today. And Tommy wasn't even along side him so this was a more of a offending move. Maybe racing 200HP SBKs on a track with the width barely suitable for scooters is a bad idea? And apparently MA tracks are the ones that are shit... https://youtube.com/shorts/nZqIR7jalN4?feature=share
Crazy...i was looking at RRW results and that dude did the fastest lap yesterday before the Hickman incident. A weekend to forget...
