Quick question, downloaded a tech sheet and i see there is a space for the vin at the top. My bike has a blank frame with an invoice obviously. I intend to bring copies of that invoice to tech. Do i need anything else?
They never ever ever ever ask or check. Check your safety wire and that its mechanically sound and just roll on through. I have had multiple bikes with no VIN numbers on the frame, never been an issue. I never brought paper work either.
Thank you. Maybe ill bring it the first time as my face isnt familiar in WERA tech and ill just have it on hand just in case for the future.
When I wrecked my bike and broke the frame, Insurance actually paid for a new blank frame and had the repair shop re-stamp it with my original VIN. So if you have done the same, go to harbor freight, get a stamp kit, and tack one on
