You guys have it all backwards...Its a safety whip. As wind speed increases, whip pulls harder on front brake - slowing bike back to a safe 50 MPH. I have one installed for this very reason - never a ticket yet!
Riding home from Austin, going North through Temple, traffic suddenly slowed the heck down from the avg 75mph with cars cutting left and right of the center lane. Some pierced and tatted up fool flat out on a little 'Vespa look-alike Asain scooter runnin' the legal minimum of 45!
Negative, ghost rider. I've ridden in both and, although I prefer my `stitch, the leather is less porous.
If the criteria is simply blocking cold air, a rain suit does a respectable job. A little weak on protection AND insulation though.
Thats freakin Awesome!! I can't wait til that makes it way to Ga. We just learn-ed about a new weapon here called a gun. Should make for some good news stories.
Its an evil ploy by Harley Davidson to get sportbike guys to ask questions. It is kinda silly IYAM.....I'll still go with a few 1/4" nuts in my pocket:up:....not those nuts, but you know, steel ones that just fall out at the right time.
