That's a Superformance repo right? No way it's original. Those are worth well north of six figures.

Still clean though. I think these were done with Carol's blessing using original chassis.

To many things seem off for that to be a real.

C.S. did not sign many cars much less, multiple signatures.

The picture of the CS plate on the side; look at the bottom, looks like fiberglass to me, not sheetmetal.

The inside, the engine bay....smells fishy.

I should have said 7 figures in my first post. Only six were originally made and sell well into the millions at auction.

The wheels are too big and the transmission is wrong. A/C, power windows, power locks and power steering? Nope.

O yea, all of the chassis numbers are documented and CSX9000 isn't one of them.:p

Would still be a blast to drive though.:D

Continuation chassis kit much like a Factory Five.
I wish Pop's had power steering...power locks really?

I wouldn't be surprised if these could fetch 8 figures these days. The ones at MMP are a pure treat to visit every so often.

You can buy a CSX9000 roller from Shelby (http://shelbyamerican.com/daytona.asp) and then another company will drop the motor and transmission in it.

The signed glove box is probably part of the Shelby Charity that you could send something to them with a donation and it would either be signed by him or by the robo-pen.

Yup, bought my GT500 shortly before he passed. They discontinued the Charity program end of March 2012. So if that CSX9000 was completed before then and it was sent off to the Shelby Charity for signature prior .. it's probably real.

If you guys are referring to the rocker panel, I think that's on purpose. I think it's a really thick chip resistant type primer used in high chip areas, then color sprayed....IIRC, a lot of mid level Japanese sportcars have it, pretty sure my old FD did.
