Anyone have a copy of the NEC?

Memory failing me. On a spa/hot-tub install, How far away from the body of water (Tub) have to be from the spa panel/disc. I seem to remember 5' minimum. Could someone look it up for me puhleeeze :up:

I don't have a copy of the NEC, but yeah, 5' minimum. I remember that from long ago and in doing some checking have confirmed it. Local codes may require more distance. You really should be fine with the 5' though.

 

ya its 5 ft. 680.41 in the 2005 nec, i dont think the 2008 is out yet
